Summer Girl She is a Work in Progress.
I created her with Pan Pastels (the 20 piece portrait set), sketching pencils, Derwent Inktense Colored Pencils, Silks Acrylic Glazes, the Seven Jewels Stencil from Artistcellar, and the London Old World Map Stencil from Artistcellar.
Stunning and I love her expression :-). She shines with contentment and confidence -- wonderful how you've captured it...!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I had fun with her expression.
DeletePretty! Pan pastels are on my list of art supplies to try. I also enjoy the vibrancy of the flowers. - Karla
ReplyDeletePan Pastels are brand new to me and I am loving playing with them.
DeleteSummer Girl is very stunning. Her grin reveals that she knows something special, a little secret she is holding until the time is right, or maybe that she is feeling really good about herself today! She has very pretty eyes! Once again, your colour choices are very bold and eye catching!
ReplyDeleteYour faces are so nicely scaled and the proportions are pleasing!
Thank you, Renee! I love color!
DeleteLove how you have contrasted the gentleness of her with the strong deep colours of the flowers
ReplyDeleteThank you! She reminds me of my Nana. :)
DeleteBeautiful! I love those colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Manda!
DeleteShe is so pretty. Your blending of colours is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Annie. That is one thing I really like about Pan Pastels.
DeleteYour faces are beautiful! So soft looking! And your backgrounds are great too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Denthe!
