Hand Made Journal

This is a journal.  I created the paper fabric with layers of dress making patterns, stamps, ink, and fabric.  Then, I bound water color paper into a book.

Enjoying Life

Sundays are a great day to practice care of self.  I had all sorts of plans for today.  I have been unpacking and sorting my studio and I wanted to get in there and work.  However, life has caught up with me and it is a day to recover instead.  Enjoy your day!

You Were Created with Intention and Purpose

This is a mixed media 9x12 inch canvas that I finished today.   I used the hymn, "All Things Bright and Beautiful" for the body. Across her belly it says, "The Lord God made them all." Her head has text from another hymn and it reads, "...children of the King."  In this piece I am affirming that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator of the Universe and that we were created with Intention and Purpose.
